1. Installation and disassembly
Improper installation is an important reason for poor bearing efficiency. Because the bearing is installed correctly or not, it has a direct impact on its life and the accuracy of the main engine.
If the bearing is installed incorrectly, the accuracy is low, and the bearing has deflection, torque will be generated during rotation, which will cause the bearing to heat up or wear. In addition, the bearing will generate vibration, increase the noise, and increase the temperature rise.
35-36% of prematurely failed bearings are still caused by incorrect technical application and improper use of grease. The main effects of lubrication on bearings include:
1) Prevent metal corrosion;
2) Prevent the intrusion of foreign matter and play a sealing role;
3) Discharge the frictional heat to prevent excessive temperature rise of the bearing;
4) Reduce friction and wear and extend bearing life.
Since bearings are usually the most difficult parts of mechanical equipment to be installed and unloaded, problems will arise if they are not frequently lubricated. In the case that manual maintenance cannot be achieved, a fully automatic lubrication system is developed to achieve the best lubrication effect.
Bearings are precision parts. If the bearings and grease are contaminated, they will not operate effectively. In addition, since maintenance-free sealed bearings that have been greased occupy only a small part of all bearings in use, at least about 15% of all prematurely failed bearings are caused by pollution problems.
Matters needing attention in the use of bearings
Rolling bearings are an integral part of precision machines, and they must be cautiously used when using them. Otherwise, even if high-performance bearings are used, if they are used improperly, the expected results will not be achieved.
(1) Keep the bearing and its surroundings clean (do not get into the dust).
(2) Avoid strong impact.
(3) Use accurate tools.
(4) Don't let the bearing rust (wear gloves to avoid hand sweat).
(5) Generally, the shaft rotates in most cases. Therefore, the inner ring is an interference fit, and the fit between the outer ring of the bearing and the bearing chamber is a clearance fit.
Another important link is timely inspection and replacement. Because when the bearing finds serious fatigue peeling, oxidation, corrosion, worn pits, cracks, or excessive noise that cannot be adjusted, if it is not replaced in time, it will cause the bearing to generate heat, abnormal noise, vibration, etc., which will affect the normal Production, so it must be checked and replaced in time.
